These Terms govern your use of the Three Lights mobile and web application (the "Service") operated by Alexandru Dimitriu ("we", "us", or "Three Lights"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Three Lights is a simple habit-building app. You reflect once a day and mark each habit green, yellow, or red. Some features are available as part of a paid plan (Three Lights Pro).

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you are using Three Lights on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
• Send spam, scrape, probe, or attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
• Upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data;
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

4. Intellectual property

Three Lights, including the software, documentation, designs, and brand, is owned by Alexandru Dimitriu and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes within your chosen plan. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the habit data and custom habits you enter. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Payments, subscriptions, refunds and taxes

Three Lights Pro is sold as a monthly subscription at $2.99 per month. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel your subscription at any time and it will not renew at the end of the current billing period.

7. Service level

We work hard to keep Three Lights available, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow such limits.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of business of Alexandru Dimitriu. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
